Sink Vanity

Storage beneath the sink in the bathroom is an obvious place to hide away those can’t-do-without items… an emergency supply of loo-roll for example! Manufacturers have recognised this need and so produce excellent combinations of made-to-fit sinks for vanity units and worktops.

A semi-recessed sink sits neatly into the top of the vanity and offers an attractive storage area in the cupboard below (which also hides away the u-bend and water pipes).

Freestanding vanity units or washstands are another clever idea to bring some style into the bathroom – you have a freestanding unit with integrated shelving or cupboard space beneath and a worktop either for an inset sink or one that sits on top (often referred to as a vessel, countertop or table top sink). Some sinks are designed to drop into the unit and replace the worktop entirely.
