Modern & Contemporary
When considering bathroom furniture and creating a modern bathroom look, there is one word to keep in mind ‘modular’. Creating a minimalist look is key here and by splitting runs of units a more modular feel can be achieved.
But if you simply want to introduce storage into your bathroom but you don’t want to detract from the lines of your sanitaryware why not just add in a tower unit or a vanity cabinet?
Finish is also critical in the quest for a contemporary look. You cannot fail to create a modern, sleek look with high gloss white fascias especially when complimented by framing around the doors and units in a dark wenge finish. However some timber effect finishes can also give a fashion-conscious twist. Slab fronted oak finish doors are ideal when contrasted against angular sanitaryware.
Wall hanging base cabinets without a plinth can also add to the feeling of space in a bathroom - again a very modern touch. But consider too your lighting, accessories and mirrors, these can finish the look.
